Care / Cloth

Keep the silk quiet and alive_

The collection uses delicate silk and reclaimed textiles, so care should feel closer to looking after an archive garment than washing everyday basics.

Care

Recommended care

Dry cleaning is preferred. If you need to freshen the piece at home, use the gentlest possible approach and avoid heat, twisting, or harsh detergents.

  • Dry cleaning is preferred for silk and reclaimed sari textiles.
  • If washing is needed, use cold water by hand, avoid wringing, and dry flat away from direct sun.
  • Steam on low from the reverse side or through a cloth. Do not tumble dry.
  • Store on a broad hanger or folded in the garment wrap to protect the collar line.

Storage

How to store the kimono

Store the kimono on a broad hanger, or fold it into the garment wrap if hanging space is limited. Keep it away from prolonged direct sunlight to protect color and surface sheen.

Wear

Styling and movement

The pieces are designed for hosting, travel dressing, and occasional outer-layer styling. Use the belt gently, avoid snag-prone jewellery, and let the cloth hang naturally after wearing.
